Marshall Brock, 90 of Chillicothe, Texas passed away on Tuesday, August 5, 2025, in Wichita Falls, Texas.
Funeral services will be held Thursday, August 7, 2025, at 10:00 am at Sullivan Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Clay Carter officiating. Burial will follow at Chillicothe Cemetery under the direction of Sullivan Funeral Home.
Marshall was born Monday, February 4, 1935, in Tolbert, Texas. He was the son of the late Claude Brock and the late Eunice Archer Brock. He married Sharon Henry on May 29, 1955, in Chillicothe, Texas. He graduated from Vernon High School in 1955. He was a member of the U.S. Army for two years. Marshall lived most of his life in Chillicothe, and he was very active in his community. He drove an ambulance and was also a storm chaser. He was a member of the Chillicothe ISD School Board, Chillicothe Riding Club, and the Chillicothe Cemetery Board. He was a retired Chillicothe Volunteer Fire Fighter and served as a Justice of the Peace for Hardeman County for many years. He worked for Kongzak Funeral Home. He then worked as a driver for Sullivan Funeral Home and Smith Funeral Homes where he drove over one million miles, often with his wife Sharon by his side. He took great pride in bringing others' loved ones home to their final resting places. Many families also requested to have Marshall sing at funerals, and that brought him great joy. He was a member of First Methodist Church of Chillicothe where he also enjoyed singing.
Marshal is survived by two daughters, Cindy Brock & wife Dianne Nugent of Hot Springs Village, Arkansas and Cathy Young & husband Robby of Chillicothe, Texas, and two grandchildren, Caitlynn Guggisberg & husband Josh of Weatherford, Texas and J.R. Young & wife Heather of Amarillo, New Mexico. Marshall also leaves behind one great grandchild, Laney.
Marshall is preceded in death by his wife. Sharon Brock and his sister, Jennie Marie Price.
Visitation will be on Wednesday, August 6, 2025, from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm at Sullivan Funeral Home.
Memorials can be given to the Chillicothe Cemetery or the Chillicothe Volunteer Fire Department.
