Mary "Sue" Grantham, 86 of Chillicothe, Texas passed away on Saturday, January 3, 2026, in Jacksboro, Texas.

Memorial services will be held Monday, January 12, 2026, at 2:00 pm at First Baptist Church in Chillicothe, Texas under the direction of Sullivan Funeral Home with Rev. Clay Carter officiating.

Sue was born Monday, March 6, 1939, in Cambria County, Pennsylvania. She was the daughter of the late Albert Michaels and the late Helen Emma Ruby Michaels. While being raised in a military family, Sue moved all over the country. She was a Cub Scout lead while her children were growing up. She was very involved with her children's and grandchildren's lives. She enjoyed crafting, cooking, baking, and decorating wedding and birthday cakes. Sue was a Registered Nurse, and nursing was her passion. She worked at Chillicothe Hospital and North Texas State Hospital, and Sue was also a school nurse.

Sue is survived by two sons, David Grantham & wife Patti of Paris, Tennessee and Bob Grantham & wife Michelle of Cocoa, Florida, and one daughter, Susan Madl & husband Scott of Chillicothe, Texas. Sue also leaves behind five grandchildren, Ashley, Justin, Courtney, Haley, and Krista, along with six great grandchildren.

Sue is preceded in death by her parents, Albert & Helen Michaels, her brothers, Ed Michaels and Dave Michaels, and her sister, Diana Francis.
