Mary Frances Johnson, 81 of Brownwood, Texas, passed away on Monday, August 28, 2023, in Brownwood, Texas.

Funeral services will be held Friday, September 1, 2023, at 2:00 pm at Sullivan Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Norris Thomas officiating. Burial will follow at Frederick Douglas Cemetery in Chillicothe, Texas under the direction of Sullivan Funeral Home.

Born in Hardeman County Texas May of 1942, to Troyice Jean and Dorothy Bernice Richardson (Deceased). She had a total of 7 brothers and 1 sister, Jimmy Clifford, Simmie Lee, Troy-Lil TJ, Eddie Dean, Robert Wayne, Johnny Lee (only living Brother), and Jerry Lewis them Richardson boys, and baby sis her best friend Willie Mae.

She attended Frederick Douglass Elementary in Chillicothe Tx, and Booker T Washington in Vernon Tx. She married Curtis Howard Johnson-Big Shot (Deceased), they had 4 children, Clifford, Willie Pearl (Deceased), Shelby Lynn (Deceased), and Sammy.

She was a butcher by trade she worked at Swindell in Hardeman County, she was a Caregiver, Sunday School Teacher, and did Farm Work. Devoted Mother, Good Wife, Great Friend, she loved her Family, she would give her last for someone else to have a start. Most of all, she was madly in love with the Lord, she loved God Almighty with every part of her soul. Gave her life completely over to the Lord, and served him only.

She is survived by her oldest and youngest son's Clifford Johnson and Sammy (Wife Robin) Johnson, Grandsons Khrie McGregor, Shawn Johnson, Khristian Johnson, and Brother Johnny Lee (Wife Mattie)Richardson. And so many beautiful nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends, you cannot fit all the names on here, and she loved each and every one of them dearly.
