Meda "Alline" Haynes, 95 of Vernon, Texas, passed away on Saturday, January 6, 2024, in Vernon, Texas.

Visitation will be Tuesday, January 9, 2024, from 7:00 pm to 8:00 pm at Sullivan Funeral Home.

Alline was born Wednesday, March 21, 1928, in Bolivar, Missouri. She was the daughter of the late Harvey G. Orrell and the late Mary I. Webster Orrell. She married Noel Haynes December 31, 1954, in Culver City, California. Noel passed away December 9, 1997. Alline retired from JC Penney. She enjoyed working crossword and jigsaw puzzles along with knitting and crocheting. She loved gardening, especially taking care of her roses.  She was very independent.  Alline loved her family. She was a member of Wilbarger St. Church of Christ.

Alline is survived by one son, Jeff Haynes of Vernon, Texas; one daughter, Connie Robinson & husband Sammy of Granbury, Texas; four grandchildren, Christopher Robinson & wife Jenny of Azle, Texas, Timothy Robinson & wife Brooke of Wylie, Texas, Sarah Turner & husband Aaron of Inez, Texas, and Jessica Haynes of Garland, Texas, and six great grandchildren Skyler Robinson, Bryce Robinson, Melody Ashley, Belle Turner, Adam Turner, Cora Robinson, and one on the way.

Alline is preceded in death by her parents, her husband, five brothers, and four sisters.
