Michael Seth Roberson, passed away, age 45, of Vernon, TX. on September 13, 2021.
Funeral services will be held Friday, September 17, 2021 at 2:00pm at Sullivan Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Toby Castleberry officiating pastor of Calvary Baptist Church. Interment will be held at Wilbarger Memorial Park under the direction of Sullivan Funeral Home.
Michael was born August 18, 1976 in Wichita Falls, TX. He is the beloved son of Don Roberson and Debra Parker Boring. He has been a resident of Vernon, TX., all of his life. He is the grandson of the late Lee and Allie Roberson of Lockett, TX., and the late Alvin E. Parker, Sr., and Loyce Parker of Claypool, OK. He attended Vernon Schools and Vernon College. He was a member of the First Baptist Church in Vernon, TX. He worked at Wood's Nursing Home and at Wilbarger General Hospital for several years. Recently, he was preparing to open his own business of making and selling jewelry. He loved working with his hands whether if it was working on a car or making jewelry.
He enjoyed reading, playing music, gardening, cooking and collecting arrowheads when he could. His passion was helping people in need, hanging out with his friends and caring for his cats. He had an amazing heart to love and forgive people.
He has two daughters that he loved as his own Melanie Joliff and Ashley Roberson both of Fort Worth, TX. He is also survived by his parents and step-father, Emory Boring. Two sisters Melissa Roberson Hartig of Austin, TX., and Cynthia Roberson of Vernon, TX., and two step-sisters, Shari Boring Jenkines of Allen, TX., and Kristin Boring Cook of Wichita Falls, TX. One granddaughter, also several nieces and nephews, aunts and uncles, and a lot of cousins.
He was preceded in by both sets of grandparents Lee and Allie Roberson, Alvin and Loyce Parker. His uncles Roy Roberson, Jon Roberson, aunt Phyllis Bilbrey and his cousins Bobby Ray Bilbrey, and Lori Ochoa.
Memorial's can be made to favorite charity.
