Minnie Rushing, 63 of Vernon, Texas passed away on Saturday, May 27, 2023, in Wichita Falls, Texas.

Graveside services will be held Thursday, June 1, 2023 at 2:00 pm at Eastview Cemetery under the direction of Sullivan Funeral Home with Rev. Curtis Rutledge officiating.

Minnie was born Friday, April 1, 1960 in Vernon, Texas. She was the daughter of the late Oscar Fry and the late Betty Edmonds Hollingsworth. Minnie work for Outreach Home Health as a caregiver for twenty-eight years.  She was saved and was baptized May 23, 2023.

Minnie is survived by her husband, Virgil Rushing of Vernon, Texas; four sons, Randy Rushing & wife Chelsey of Vernon, Texas, Clinton Rushing & wife Julie of Vernon, Texas, Virgil Rushing & wife Holly of Wichita Falls, Texas, and Brandon Rushing & wife Ashley of Vernon, Texas; two daughters, Jennifer Poe & husband Jerrod of Childress, Texas, and Alicia Goldman & husband Zach of Vernon, Texas; two brothers, Wayne Fry of Vernon, Texas, and Oscar Fry, Jr. of Vernon, Texas, and one sister, Ruby LaBeth of Vernon, Texas. Minnie also leaves behind nineteen grandchildren.

Minnie is preceded in death by three brothers, Jimmy Fry, Robert Fry and Jerry Fry; one sister, Linda Calipher, and her step-father, Walter Hollingsworth.

Visitation will be Wednesday, May 31, 2023 from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm at Sullivan Funeral Home.
