Mitchell Raines, 76 of Harrold, Texas passed away on Monday, March 20, 2023.

A private family service will be held at a later date.

Mitchell was born Tuesday, June 11, 1946 in Vernon, Texas. He was the son of the late Willy Cleo Raines and the late Ella Leona Burke. Mitchell married Tammy Noll on October 29, 2002 in Harrold, Texas. Mitchell worked in the oil field for many years, and he loved to do custom body work. Mitchell helped his wife start the Little Eden Farms in Harrold, Texas. Mitchell and his family were members of the Calvary Baptist Church.

Mitchell is survived by his wife, Tammy Raines of the home; one son, Daron Raines of Vernon, Texas; one daughter, Lacey Buckmaster & husband Matthew of Iowa Park, Texas; eight grandchildren, Amanda Raines, Colton Raines, Jasmin Mitchell, Lindsey Mitchell, Austin Mitchell, Lincoln Buckmaster, Kasen Buckmaster, and Camdyn Buckmaster; four great grandchildren, Dalton Raines, Anthony Alfaro, Mason Alfaro, and Manolo Alfaro; Mother-in-law, Gay Noll & husband Dickie of Electra, Texas; two sisters-in-law, Kim Gilbert & husband Steven of Electra, Texas, and Bernidine Raines of Abilene, Texas.

Mitchell is preceded in death by his son, Sterling Dee Raines, and his brother, Dennis Raines.
