Nancy Jane Borchardt, 60 of Vernon, Texas passed away on Sunday, December 8, 2024, in Wichita Falls, Texas.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday, December 11, 2024, at 10:00 am at Wilbarger Street Church of Christ with Mr. Dave Winn officiating. Burial will follow at Big Valley Cemetery under the direction of Sullivan Funeral Home.

Nancy was born Monday, July 6, 1964, in Wichita Falls, Texas. She was the daughter of the late Roy E. "Jimmy" Wall and the late Betty Byers Wall. She is a 1982 graduate of Vernon High School and attended Vernon Regional Junior College. During high school and college, Nancy worked at Central Market. She then worked at North Texas State Hospital for thirty three years on both campuses. She worked as a teacher's aid at the South Campus and as a secretary in the maintenance department at the North Campus. While her daughter, Heather, was in school she helped with the VHS Band Boosters and the PTA. She was a Campfire Leader. She enjoyed attending all of Heather's high school activities. Nancy loved to craft, shop, cook, decorate, and travel to the mountains.  Most of all, she enjoyed being "Nana" to her granddaughter, Kinley. She was a member of the Wilbarger Street Church of Christ.

Nancy is survived by her husband, Richard Kubicek of the home and two daughters, Heather Helmick & husband Zac of Wichita Falls, Texas and Lynn Dennis & husband Ronny of Vernon, Texas. Nancy also leaves behind four grandchildren, Kinley, Sylis, Ronna and Lyndsey.

Nancy was preceded in death by her brother, James Roy Wall.
