Norma Arroyo passed away on September 26, 2022, in Plano, Texas. Norma was a long-time resident of Vernon.

Mass services will be held August 3, 2023, at 12:00 pm at Holy Family Catholic Church. Graveside burial will be held at the Eastview Cemetery on August 4, 2023, at 10:00 am with Father Phil Petta officiating under the direction of Sullivan Funeral Home.

Norma was born on October 12, 1941, in Crystal City, Texas. She was the daughter of the late Santos Z. Rodriguez and the late Anita D. Rodriguez. She married Luis Arroyo on March 31, 1958. Luis passed away on September 22, 2006. Norma was a member of Holy Family Catholic church. She graduated from Vernon Nursing School and obtained her LVN degree. She worked many years at Wilbarger General Hospital and as a PNA at North Texas State Hospital before retiring.

Norma is survived by her children, Diana Bordayo (Ray) of Vernon, Texas, Yolanda Barker of Idaho Falls, Idaho, and Santos Arroyo (Annice) of St. George, Utah, along with numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great-great grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her husband, parents, and son, Luis Arroyo, Jr.
