Pablo Alaniz Cuellar, 91 of Vernon, Texas passed away on Monday, September 7, 2026, in Vernon, Texas.

Funeral services will be held Monday, September 14, 2026, at 10:00 am at Sullivan Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. James Martinez officiating. Pablo was born Saturday, October 6, 1934, in Kenedy, Texas. He was the son of the late Pablo Cuellar and the late Vicenta Alaniz Cuellar. He married Juanita Honesto on February 25, 1955, in Sinton, Texas. He worked in maintenance in Costal Properties. He enjoyed golfing and fishing. Pablo was a faithful servant of the Lord, and he was a member of New Life Baptist Church. 

Pablo is survived by six sons, Israel Cuellar of Interlochen, MI, Julio Cuellar & wife Silvia of Vernon, TX, Pablo Cuellar of Lansing, MI, Carlos Cuellar & wife Amber of Lansing, MI, Abel Cuellar & wife Trina of Lansing, MI and Henry Cuellar of Lansing, MI, and two daughters, Gloria Bonilla of San Antonio, TX and Eva Ruiz & husband Arturo. Pablo also leaves behind numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great-great grandchildren. 

Pablo is preceded in death by his wife, Juanita Cuellar, his parents, Pablo & Vicenta Cuellar, and three sons, Jesus Cuellar, Juan Honesto Cuellar and Adam Cuellar.

Visitation will be Sunday, September 13, 2026, from 5:00 pm until 7:00 pm at Sullivan Funeral Home.

Memorials may be given to New Life Baptist Church.
