Pamela Kay Brown Sokora, 58 of Vernon, Texas passed away on Friday, September 11, 2026, in Vernon, Texas.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday September 15, 2026, at 2:00pm at the Sullivan Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Toby Castleberry officiating. Burial will follow at Wilbarger Memorial Park under the direction of Sullivan Funeral Home. 

Pam was born Monday, February 26, 1968, in Crowell Texas to the late James Arthur Brown, Jr. and Sarah Lilly Brown. Pam loved music, especially Journey. Pam enjoyed crafts, sewing and gardening.

Pam leaves behind daughters Alicia Sokora and Amalia Neves-Santos stationed in Italy and Allison Sokora of Plano, Texas. Pam also leaves behind her mother Sarah Brown of Vernon, Texas and two sisters Patricia Turnbull and husband Kerrick and Paula Seward, all of Vernon, Texas. along with her ex-husband Bill Sokora of Archer City, Texas.

Pam is preceded in death by her father James Arthur Brown, Jr.

Visitation will be held Monday September 14, 2026, from 6-7pm at Sullivan Funeral Home.
