L.F Pat Knight, III, 76 of Vernon, Texas passed away on Tuesday, February 21, 2023, in Vernon, Texas.

Memorial services will be held on Monday, February 27, 2023 at 2:00 pm at Sullivan Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. George Records officiating.

Pat was born Saturday, August 31, 1946 in Vernon, Texas. He was the son of the late L.F. Knight and the late Alma Sue Wilson Knight. He married Bridget Hurley on May 21, 1988 in Vernon, Texas. Pat played football for Texas Tech University. He worked in insurance for fifteen years, and he was the Director of Security for the Texas Youth Commission at Victory Field. Pat loved riding Harley Davidson motorcycles. He was a influencer and had a major impact on a lot of people. He was a member of First Presbyterian Church.

Pat is survived by his wife, Bridget Knight of the home; sons, Matt Knight & wife Cheryl of Pilot Point, Texas and Eric Knight & wife Denise of Denton, Texas; granddaughters, Lexi Knight of Tucson, Arizona, Stephanie Knight of Denton, Texas, and Makenzie Knight of Denton, Texas.

Pat is preceded in death by his parents and Aunt Mode Boley.
