Pat Rushing, 78 of Wichita Falls, Texas died on Wednesday, June 1, 2022, in Wichita Falls, Texas.

Funeral service will be Monday, June 6, 2022 at 11:00 am at Owens & Brumley Chapel in Wichita Falls, Texas, services are under the direction of Sullivan Funeral Home, Vernon, Texas. Officiating will be Rev. Tom Carter. Interment will be held at Riverside Cemetery, Wichita Fall, Texas.

Pat was born Saturday, March 11, 1944 in Wichita Falls, Texas, she was the daughter of the late John Hearn and the late Edith Henson Hearn. She married  Robert E. Rushing on November 16, 1962 in Frederick, Okla. She attended Oxnard Jr. College in Oxnard, CA. She worked as a computer operator for Waggoner National Bank and she worked at Vernon State Hospital in Volunteer Service Department. She was a former member of Business & Professional Women's Club and  Red Hats of Vernon. She was a volunteer for American Heart Association, American Cancer Society, and Wilbarger General Hospital Auxiliary. She was a former member of Faith United Methodist Church in Vernon, United Methodist Women Group, currently she was a member of Wesley United Methodist Church  in Wichita Fall, TX.

Pat is survived by her husband Robert E. Rushing of the home, one sister, Linda Patterson of Wichita Falls, TX. Numerous nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by two sons Robert M. Rushing and John Hearn Rushing, one daughter Rebecca Ann Rushing. Her brother, Bobby Hearn, two sisters, Ruth Underwood and Gean Sanderson.

Visitation will be Friday, June 3, 2022 at 6:00 to 8:00 pm at Sullivan Funeral Home, Vernon, Texas.
