Patsy Ann Sargent, 71 of Abilene, Texas, passed away on Thursday, August 6, 2026, in Abilene, Texas.

A Funeral service will be at 12:00 PM (noon) on Tuesday August 11, 2026, at Eastview Cemetery in Vernon, Texas, under the direction of Sullivan Funeral Home.

Patsy was born Saturday, January 15, 1955, in Vernon, Texas. Patsy was the daughter to the late Julian Joe Nava and the late Ann Edwards Nava. Patsy was raised by her grandparents Joe and Edna Nava of Vernon, Texas. Patsy was married to Hubert Lee Sargent, Jr. from July 22, 1973, until his passing on January 6, 1994. Patsy later moved to Abilene, Texas where she married Robert “Bob” Moorehouse in 2019. Patsy had a long-standing career in the nursing field as a CNA, for several nursing homes over the years.

Patsy leaves behind her husband, Robert “Bob’ Moorehouse, of Abilene, Texas. Three sons, Joseph Sargent, Daniel Sargent, and Randy Anthony & wife Hope all of Abilene, Texas. three daughters Kelly Norton of Maple Shade, NJ., Melissa “Wetback’ Sargent of Abilene Texas, and Paula Gollihar & husband Seth of Baird, Texas. Patsy leaves behind eighteen grandchildren and twenty-four great grandchildren. Patsy also leaves behind her brothers and sisters Mark Nava, Larry Nava, Terry Nava, Roger Nava, Debbie Nava and Lori Judd.

Patsy is preceded in death by her daughter Virginia Spikes, son in law Eddie Rodriguez, Sr., son in law Scott Norton, sister Janet Daughton, son in law John Daughton, brother Gary Nava and one grandson E.J. Rodriguez.

The family will receive family and friends from 10:00 AM on Tuesday, August 11, 2026, until service time at Sullivan Funeral Home, 1801 Houston St., Vernon, Texas.
