Pauline Frances Imel, 92 of Amarillo, Texas passed away on Monday, June 9, 2025, in Amarillo, Texas.

Graveside services will be held Thursday, June 12, 2025, at 2:00 pm at Wilbarger Memorial Park under the direction of Sullivan Funeral Home with Rev. Toby Castleberry officiating.

Pauline was born Saturday, May 13, 1933, in Childress, Texas. She was the daughter of the late J.D. Hall and the late Ollie Mae Woodard. She married Earl "Sonny" Imel, Jr. on October 13, 1950, in Memphis, Texas. She was a resident of Vernon, Texas for most of her life, and she retired from the Vernon Manufacturing Company. Pauline loved fishing, and she also enjoyed going bowling and to the casino. Most of all, she loved being with her family. She was a member of Eastside Baptist Church.

Pauline is survived by her daughter, Kathy Imel of Amarillo, Texas, her son, Paul Imel & wife Paula of Amarillo, TX, and her sister, Letha Mae Bills. Pauline also leaves behind six grandchildren, Robert Imel & wife Wendy, Teresa West & husband Daniel, April Sneed & husband Eric, Derrick Imel, Gina Rejino & husband Johnathon, and Bud Imel & wife Monica, eleven great grandchildren, three great-great grandchildren, her daughter-in-law, Pamela Imel, along with numerous nieces and nephews.

Pauline is preceded in death by her husband, Earl "Sonny" Imel, Jr. in 1998, two sons, Larry Gene Imel in 1950 and Larry Wayne Imel in 2010, four brothers, and three sisters.

Visitation will be Thursday, June 12, 2025, at Sullivan Funeral Home from 1:00 pm until graveside services begin.

Memorial can be made to the Pulmonary Fibrosis Foundation .
