Peggy Ruth Lowke, 93 of Vernon Texas passed away on Wednesday, March 12, 2025, in Vernon, Texas.

Graveside services will be held Monday March 17, 2025, at 11am at the Wilbarger Memorial Park, with Rev. Steven Brummett officiating under the direction of Sullivan Funeral Home.

Peggy was born Wednesday, January 20, 1932, to the late A.H. Foerster and the late Ruth Koontz Owens. Peggy married Albert E, Lowke, Jr. on September 3, 1950, in Vernon, Texas. Albert passed away on May 10, 2009. Peggy was a member of Immanuel Lutheran Church where she played the organ. Peggy loved to garden and raise flowers.

Peggy is survived by her grandson Todd Box, of Harrold Texas and four great grandchildren, Rachel Barnett, Garrett Box, Kayce Box and Emma Box. She also leaves behind one great great grandson Thomas Barnett.

Peggy is preceded in death by one daughter Vicki McNeal, one grandson Travis Box, one sister Sharyn Foerster

Memorials can be made to the Immanuel Lutheran Church.
