Rafaela Trinidad, 76 of Vernon, Texas passed away on Thursday, May 22, 2025, in Vernon, Texas.

Funeral services will be held Friday May 30, 2025, at 10:00am at the of Holy Family of Nazareth Catholic Church, with Father Phil Petta officiating. Burial will follow at Eastview Cemetery under the direction of Sullivan Funeral Home.

Rafaela was born Sunday, May 1, 1949, in Alice Texas to Raymundo Gonzales and Carolina Garcia Gonzales. Rafaela worked for Tyson Foods for over thirty years. She was a member of Holy Family of Nazareth Catholic Church.

Rafaela is survived by her husband Emilio Trinidad, Sr., Her children Estella Trinidad of Vernon, Texas, Emilio Trinidad Jr. of Vernon Texas and Adam Trinidad of Huntsville, Texas. Rafaela also leaves behind her grandchildren, Mickey Najera, Julian Trinidad, Lorena Martinez, Chandi Joe Trinidad, Marisol Trinidad Guerrero along with numerous great grandchildren. Rafaela was the oldest of eighteen siblings.

Rafaela is proceeded in death by one daughter Sona Trinidad and her parents Raymundo and Carolina Gonzales.

Rosary will be held Thursday May 29, 2025, at 6pm at Sullivan Funeral Home Chapel.
