Raul Rosas Gallegos, 76 of Vernon, Texas passed away on Sunday, February 26, 2023, in Vernon, Texas.

Funeral services will be held Thursday, March 2, 2023 at 2:00 pm at Eastside Baptist Church with Rev. Curt Rutledge, Sr. officiating. Burial will follow at Eastview Cemetery under the direction of Sullivan Funeral Home.

Raul was born Thursday, April 18, 1946 in Estado Chihuahua, Mexico. He was the son of the late Joaquin Gallegos and the late Vicenta Rosas Gallegos. He married Julia Revera on February 14, 2002 in Vernon, Texas. Raul was a simple man, and a very hard worker. He loved his children and his grandchildren.  Raul also loved the Atlanta Braves and Spanish music. He was a member of Eastside Baptist Church.

Raul is survived by his wife, Julia Gallegos of the home; son, Reynaldo Canales, Jr. of Vernon, Texas; daughter, Ana Rutledge & husband Curtis of Vernon, Texas; grandchildren, Lisa Leeann Canales, Caleb Rutledge, Isabella Rutledge, and Julia Rutledge.

Visitation will be Wednesday, March 1, 2023 from 6:00 pm to 7:00pm at Sullivan Funeral Home.
