Raynaldo "Ray" Marines, 61 of Vernon, Texas, passed away on Tuesday, March 5, 2024, in Wichita Falls, Texas.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, March 9, 2024 at 10:00 am at Sullivan Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Anthony Inman officiating.
Ray was born Saturday, September 29, 1962, in Memphis, Texas. He was the son of the late Jesus Marines and the late Margarita Torres Marines. He married Delmira Alaniz on April 15, 1998 in Vernon, Texas. He worked as a concrete finisher. He enjoyed keeping a very clean car, and he loved working in the yard. Ray took pride in his home's appearance. He enjoyed music, dancing, and singing. He loved providing and taking care of his family.
Ray is survived by his wife, Delmira Marines of the home; three children, Jesse Marines of Dayton, Oregon, Melissa DeLeon of Vernon, Texas and Aaron Flores (Magan) of Wichita Falls, Texas; one brother, Juan Marines of Robstown, Texas; six grandchildren, Kamry (Kyler), Devin, Marcus, Noah, Jonah, and Ezra; sister-in-law, Maria Alaniz of Vernon, Texas; brother-in-law, Ray & Norma Alaniz of Fresno, California; in-laws, Juan & Mary Padron of Vernon, Texas and Rey & Josie Alaniz of Wichita Falls, Texas, and his nieces and nephews, Monica Garcia & great nieces Autum, Adri & Kaaya of Robstown, Texas, Bethany Lindop, Breanna Sanders & great nephews, Sebastian, Levy & Luka, Becca Lindop & Brant Garza & great niece Evelyn all of Vernon, Texas, Ben & Savana Lindop & great niece and nephew, Roman & Ari of Yukon, Oklahoma, Brennen Lindop of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, Jason & Deven Hernandez & great nieces, Priscilla, Felicity, Mariah & Brynnlee of San Angelo, Texas, Frank & Irma Montelongo & great niece and nephew, Francisco, Jackie, Isabella & Micaella of Dayton, Oregon, and Oscar Garcia of Dayton, Oregon. Ray also leaves behind his aunts and uncles, Maria Elena Benavidez of Robstown, Texas, Esperanza Flores of Dayton, Oregon, Loly & Nina Torres of Amarillo, Texas, Martin Casas of Amarillo, Texas, Joe & Tita Torres of Memphis, Texas, Maria & Darryl Hacker of Fort Walton Beach, Florida, and Rose Hilla of Marine City, Michigan.
