Ricky  Lee Goss, 68 of Vernon, Texas died on Wednesday, March 30, 2022, in Vernon, Texas.

Funeral service will be Monday, April 4, 2022 at 2:00 pm at Wilbarger St. Church of Christ under the direction of Sullivan Funeral Home. Officiating will be Mr. Max Gunn.

Ricky was born Saturday, May 16, 1953 in Seymour, Texas, he was the son of the late Homer Goss and the late Joyce Roberts  Goss. He married Fran Key on December 30, 2016 in Vernon. He was a Texas State Trooper and Game Warden at W.T. Waggoner Estate. He served as a State Trooper from 1974 until he retired in 2010. He was a member of Masonic Lodge. He moved to Vernon in 1977 and he attended Vernon Regional Junior College. He enjoyed working with cattle, farming, hunting and fishing. He was a member of Wilbarger St. Church of Christ.

Ricky is survived by his wife Fran Goss of the home. One  son, Jody Goss of Gainesville, TX, daughter, LeeAnn Goss of Gainesville, TX, brother, Spencer Barrett of Henderson, NV. Three step-daughters Tamara Beeks of Allen, TX., Amanda Lackey of Wichita Falls, TX., and Angela Neal of Wichita Falls, TX. Eleven grandchildren.

Memorials can be made to St. Jude's Children Hospital or Hospice of Wichita Falls.
