Robbielyn Pruitt, 92 of Vernon, Texas passed away on Saturday, November 12, 2022, in Vernon, Texas.

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, November 16, 2022 at 2:00 pm at First Baptist Church in Vernon, TX with Mr. Mike Klappenbach and Dr. Derrell Monday officiating.  Interment will be at Wilbarger Memorial Park under the direction of Sullivan Funeral Home.

Robbielyn was born on Thursday, June 5, 1930 in Vernon, Texas. She married Warren D. Pruitt on November 8, 1952 in Vernon, Texas. He preceded her in death on August 4, 1996. Robbielyn was a graduate of South Lockett High School. She attended Hardin Simmons University and graduated from Baylor University.  She taught music in the Fort Worth school system, and later managed Wilbarger County Abstact Office for her husband.

She was a member of First Baptist Church and played the piano for the church. She was a member of the Yamparika Club, Relay for Life, Vernon Musician Club, and Meals On Wheels.

Robbielyn is survived by son, Russell Pruitt of Vernon, TX, daughter, Susan Elaine Rader & fiancé Rob Borchardt of Kingsland, TX.  Grandchildren Chris Rader and wife Albree, David Rader and wife Sarah.  Four great grandchildren Charlie, Warren, Nora, and Betty.

She is preceded in death by her husband and her son, Dr. Eddie Clay Pruitt on March 20, 2019.

Visitation will be Tuesday, November 15, 2022 from 6:00 to 8:00 pm at Sullivan Funeral Home.

Memorials can be made to First Baptist Church of Vernon, TX, Vernon Boys and Girls Club, or Meals On Wheels of Vernon.
