Robert Gene Fry, 72 of Vernon, Texas died on Wednesday, December 28, 2022, in Wichita Falls, Texas.

Graveside services will be held Wednesday, January 4, 2023 at 11:00 am at Eastview Cemetery under the direction of Sullivan Funeral home with Rev. Toby Castleberry officiating.

Robert was born Wednesday, August 9, 1950 in Vernon, Texas. He was the son of the late Oscar Fry, Sr. and the late Betty Edmonds Hollingsworth. Robert worked in the oil field for twenty year and then was a farmer until he retired.

Robert is survived by his sons, Jeremy Fry of Vernon, Texas and Jason Fry of Vernon, Texas; brothers, Wayne Fry of Vernon, Texas and Oscar Fry, Jr. of Vernon, Texas; sisters, Minnie Rushing of Vernon, Texas and Ruby LaBeth of Vernon, Texas; seven grandchildren, two great grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.

Robert is preceded in death by his parents, Oscar Fry, Sr. and Betty Hollingsworth.

Visitation will be Wednesday, January 4, 2023 at Eastview Cemetery at 10:00 am until the service begins.
