Robert Kent "Kent" Grammer, 71, of Chillicothe, Texas, passed away on Friday, November 22, 2024, in Wichita Falls, Texas. Born on February 2, 1953, in Vernon, Texas, and a longtime resident of Chillicothe, Kent was a lifelong learner with a wide range of passions, including martial arts, mountain biking, philosophy, archery and guitar.

Kent's career spanned various roles, especially in the energy sector, culminating in his position as a senior compliance analyst for ERCOT. His many friendships stood as a testament to his warm spirit and generosity.

Kent is survived by his children: Kendra Brown and husband Brian of East TN, Jason Grammer of Thailand, Erin Coleman and husband Kevin of Houston, TX and Landon Grammer of Florida; and eight grandchildren: Josh, Caleb, Isaiah, Gabriel, Benjamin, Caitlin, Lucas, and Grace. Many nieces, nephews and friends and his three furry companions Loki, Daisy and Peach. He was preceded in death by his parents, Bill and Joyce Grammer, sister Linda Spears, brother Billy Grammer and beloved companion Mox.

Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, November 26, 2024, at 10:00 AM at the First Methodist Church of Chillicothe, with Rev. David McDonald officiating. Burial will follow at Chillicothe Cemetery under the direction of Sullivan Funeral Home. Visitation details and memorial information will be announced separately.

He was a very private person but those who had the privilege to know him will miss him dearly.
