Robert Lee "Peabody" "Feel Good" Stillwell, 70 of Vernon, Texas passed away on Saturday, February 15, 2025, in Vernon, Texas.

Services will be held Saturday, March 1, 2025, at 3:00 pm at New Hope Baptist Church. Repass will be at Nana's Kitchen.

Robert was born Sunday, May 2, 1954, in Vernon, Texas. He was the son of the late George Bennett and the late Jessie Hickman. He served in the U.S. Navy for two years. He retired from Vernon Nursing Center. He was a Baptist.

Robert is survived by his wife of eleven years, Starrlet Carreathers of the home; two daughters, Tasha Scott & husband Billy Johnson of Vernon, Texas and Shawayla Scott & husband Carl Kendricks of Vernon, Texas, and six grandchildren, Denishia Kendricks, Donnell Kendricks, Desmond Bell, Jermaine Kendricks, Maryanne Johnson, and Dominique Johnson and five great grandchildren. Robert also leaves behind one brother, Walter Marshall.

Robert is preceded in death by his brothers, Danny Stillwell and Billy Stillwell.
