Roberta Lynn Bodling, 57 of Vernon, Texas passed away on Wednesday, February 5, 2025, in Denton, Texas.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday, February 11, 2025, at 2:00 pm at Zion Lutheran Church with Pastor Steven Brummett officiating. Burial will follow at Wilbarger Memorial Park under the direction of Sullivan Funeral Home.

Roberta was born Monday, May 15, 1967, in Silver City, New Mexico to the late Bob Muse and the late Marian Cook Muse. She married John Bodling on October 6, 2013, in Vernon, Texas. She worked for ten years as a PNA at the North Texas State Hospital. She loved crafting, baking, cooking, and Reading. She loved the Kansas City Chiefs. Mostly, Roberta enjoyed visiting with her grandchildren. She was a member of the Vernon Quilting Guild, and she was a member of Zion Lutheran Church.

Roberta is survived by her husband, John Bodling of the home; two sons, Andrew Madden of Albuquerque, New Mexico and Tyrell Keene of Baltimore, Maryland; two daughters, Racheal Hall of Carlsbad, New Mexico and Lindsey Keene of Roswell, New Mexico; four brothers, John Mohr, Kelly Muse, Derick Muse and Bobby Muse, Jr., and five sisters, Laura Porter, Melanie Barnes, Marilyn Westerfield, Susan Britton and Stormie Flamm. Roberta also leaves behind six grandchildren, Gavynn Garcia, Aniston Hall, Reid Piper, Gracyella Garcia, Raegan Piper and Carson Hall, and her two dogs, Baby Girl and Baxter.

Roberta is preceded in death by three brothers, Jimmy Mohr, Joe Mohr, and Hank Muse.

Visitation will be Tuesday, February 11, 2025, at Zion Lutheran Church from 12:00 pm until funeral services begin.

Memorials may be given to Zion Lutheran Church Building Fund.
