Roger Kevin McLennan, 67 of Vernon, Texas passed away on Sunday, January 29, 2023, in Wichita Falls, Texas.

Funeral services will be held Friday February 3, 2023, at 2:00pm at Calvary Baptist Church with Rev. Toby Castleberry officiating. Burial will follow at the Big Valley Cemetery in Medicine Mounds, TX. under the direction of Sullivan Funeral Home.

Roger was born Thursday, June 16, 1955, in Quanah, Texas. He was the son of the late Gladstone McLennan and the late Ruth Rogers McLennan. Roger married Janette Harris on August 23, 1974, in Quanah, Texas. Roger was a farmer in Hardeman County. He served as president of Chillicothe Farmers Co-Op; Roger was a director of Federal Land Bank. Roger enjoyed playing golf, riding motorcycles and had a love for classic cars. Roger and his family were members of Calvary Baptist Church.

Roger is survived by his wife Janette Harris McLennan of Vernon, Texas. Two sons, Tony McLennan and wife Emily of Geronimo, OK and Tanner McLennan and wife Brenna of Vernon, TX. His grandchildren, Luke, Lydia, Timothy, Alexander. Jonas, Maddie, Amy, Maebree and Adalyn. Roger also leaves behind three sisters, Meredith Haynes of Shreveport, LA. Anna Kay Davis of Taos, NM. and Denise Foster and husband Rodney of Goodlett, Texas.

Visitation will be held Friday from 1pm until service time at Calvary Baptist Church.
