Rose Mary Towry, 82 of Vernon, Texas passed away on Sunday, January 21, 2024, in Vernon, Texas.

Graveside services will be held Thursday, January 25, 2024, at 11:00 am at Eastview Cemetery under the direction of Sullivan Funeral Home with Mr. Danny McMahen officiating.

Rose Mary was born Tuesday, September 23, 1941, in Vernon, Texas. She was the daughter of the late James Frank Snyder and the late Rosa Lee Ramsey Snyder. She married Billy Rogers Towry March 17, 1961 in Wichita Falls, Texas. She graduated from Vernon High School in 1959. She loved going on vacations and always looked for the "pretty way" to get there. She was always ready to go on a road trip. She loved the years she lived in California and spoke often of her happy times there. She loved animals, especially her little dogs Hoppy and Bonny. She loved her family and was the one who knew all the family history. Rose Mary was a sweet, kind, caring and giving person who will be greatly missed.

Rose Mary was a member of First Methodist Church.

Rose Mary is survived by her husband, Bill Towry; two daughters, Mandy Horn, and Lisa Hass & husband Jeff; six grandchildren, Dustin Towry, Andrew Case, Colton Horn, Ethan Horn, Tyler Anthony & wife Brenda, and Taylor Hass, and two great grandchildren Asher Horn and Aaron Anthony.

Visitation will be Thursday, January 25, 2024, at Sullivan Funeral Home from 10:00 am until the services begins.
