Sharon Ray Anders, 81 of Vernon, Texas passed away on Wednesday, November 19, 2025, in Vernon, Texas.

Memorial services will be held at a later date with Pastor John Paul Welch officiating.

Sharon was born Tuesday, June 6, 1944, in Quanah, Texas. She was the daughter of the late Willie Ray Braziel and the late Lois Odell Hall Braziel. Sharon graduated from the Nursing Program at Vernon Regional Junior College as an LVN. She was passionate about nursing and worked at the Vernon State Hospital for over twelve years. She also worked for Texoma Home Health and other home health agencies in Vernon.

Sharon is survived by three sons, Erik Stewart, Wade Caussey and Bubba Anders, four daughters, Nikki Burrell, Betty Sue McMullen, Becky Rogers, and Beth Murrell, and three siblings, David, Sandra and Peggy. Sharon also leaves behind numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Sharon is preceded in death by her daughter, Beverly Ann Bozeman.
