Sharon Elaine Belew, 75 of Vernon, Texas passed away on Sunday, July 16, 2023, in Vernon, Texas.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, July 22, 2023, at 10:00 am at Sullivan Funeral Home Chapel with Toby Castleberry officiating.  Burial will follow at Wilbarger Memorial Park under the direction of Sullivan Funeral Home.

Sharon was born Friday, August 29, 1947, in Desoto, Texas. She was the daughter of the late Willie B. Jones and the late Opal Barrow Jones. She married John Mark Belew on April 10, 1993, in Dallas, Texas.  Sharon loved to shop, and she enjoyed finding deals on clothes, shoes, and handbags when on sale.  She loved to sew, travel, and enjoyed going on cruises.  She especially loved supporting her family at sporting events. Sharon was everyone's second mom and Nana to all. She was a member of First Baptist Church.

Sharon is survived by her husband, John Mark Belew of the home; six children, Jayson Salter of Tampa, Florida, Aimee McLain & husband Mark of Luling, Texas, Robyn Bourke & husband Philippe of Gatineau, Quebec, Amanda Goodwin & husband Revis of Carrollton, Texas, Marcie Andrews & husband Tom of Castroville, Texas, and Andy Belew & wife Penny of Arlington, Texas, and four sisters-in-law, Sue Davis of Vernon, Texas, Linda Kay Dean of Gilmer, Texas, Kay Belew of Vernon, Texas, and Cheryl Parker of Jayton, Texas. Sharon also leaves behind ten grandchildren and one great grandchild.

Sharon is preceded in death by her parents, her brother, Dennis Jones, and her brother-in-law, Robert Belew.

Visitation will be Friday, July 21, 2023, from 6:00 pm to 7:00 pm at Sullivan Funeral Home.
