Sheri Kay Brumley, 74 of Vernon, Texas passed on Thursday, June 12, 2025, in Vernon, Texas.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday, June 17, 2025, at 10:00 am at Second Baptist Church with Rev. Ric Rosalez officiating. Burial will follow at Wilbarger Memorial Park under the direction of Sullivan Funeral Home.

Sheri was born Sunday, December 3, 1950, in Vernon, Texas. She was the daughter of the late Mabrey "Pat" Waggoner and the late Electra Mae Miller Waggoner. She married Andy Brumley on August 21, 1972, in Vernon, Texas. Sheri graduated high school in 1969, and in 1970 she attended the University of North Texas. In 1972, she graduated from South Plains College in Levelland, Texas. She was a secretary for Waggoner and Son Electric from 1984 until 2018. She also operated Twisted Yucca for many years. She was a Cub Scout Leader and Den Mother when her boys were young. She was also a member of the Vernon Art League, Vernon Chamber of Commerce, and she taught art classes at Vernon College. Sheri was a member of Second Baptist Church where she taught Sunday School classes and was a steadfast and faithful worker.

Sheri is survived by her husband, Andy Brumley of the home, and two sons, Cody Brumley & wife Meagan and Wade Brumley both of Vernon, Texas. Sheri also leaves behind two grandchildren, Elektra and Easton.

Sheri is preceded in death by her parents, Pat & Electra Mae Waggoner and her brother, Pat Waggoner, Jr.

Visitation will be Monday, June 16, 2025, from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm at Sullivan Funeral Home.

Memorials may be given to the Second Baptist Church or Hospice of Wichita Falls .
