Shirley A. Butler-Byrd, 61 of Vernon, Texas was called home on Wednesday, March 16, 2022, in Wichita Falls, Texas.

Graveside service will be Tuesday, March 22, 2022 at 1:00 pm at Electra Cemetery in Electra, Texas under the direction of Sullivan Funeral Home.  Officiating will be Rodney Chavez.

Shirley was born Sunday, March 27, 1960 in Hershey, Pennsylvania. She was the daughter of the late Arthur Butler and the late Della Day Butler. She married of Jack "BJ"  Byrd in 2007. in Electra, Texas. She moved to Vernon in July of 2021 to be closer to her family. She was a home health worker and she was a home maker. She was a member of First Baptist Church of Electra, Texas.

Shirley is survived by her husband Jack "BJ" Byrd of the home. Two  daughters, Wendy Anzaldua and husband Jeremy of Fort Stockton, TX. and Michelle Chavez and husband Rodney of Vernon, TX. Five grandchildren Austin Miser, Chavez, Ali Anzaldua-Quintana, Kaylee Ochoa, Slayton Ochoa, and Lindy Ochoa.

She is preceded in death by her parents, one brother Harold Day, and a grandson Noah Creed.
