Stanley Roger Glasgow, 77 of Vernon, Texas passed away on Wednesday, September 13, 2023, in Vernon, Texas.

Funeral services will be held Friday, September 15, 2023, at 11:00 am at Sullivan Funeral Home Chapel with Dr. Derrell Monday officiating.

Stan was born Sunday, February 24, 1946, in Vernon, Texas. He was the son of the late Walter Glasgow and the late Rena Bellar Glasgow. He married Glenda Hunter in 2000 in Vernon, Texas. Stan worked for Southwestern Bell for 25 years as a crew manager.  He worked as a Deputy Sheriff in Sherman, Texas, and retired from the Texas Youth Commission as a computer IT technician. He was a member of Western Trail Cowboy Church.

Stan is survived by his wife, Glenda Glasgow of the home; one son, Scott Glasgow of Haslet, Texas, and two daughters, Kristin Hopkins of Vernon, Texas and Chelsea Jackson of McKinney, Texas. Stan also leaves behind five grandchildren.

Visitation will be Friday, September 15, 2023, immediately following the funeral service at Sullivan Funeral Home Chapel.
