Stanley Logan Williams, 81 of Vernon, Texas died on Monday, February 14, 2022, in Vernon, Texas.

Services will be Thursday, February 17, 2022 at 10:00 am at Sullivan Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Larry Mays officiating. Interment will be held at Wilbarger Memorial Park under the direction of Sullivan Funeral Home.

Stanley was born Sunday, December 1, 1940, he was the son of the late George Logan Williams and the late Thelma Wood  Williams. He married Shirley Ann Roberts on September 20, 1962, she preceded him in death May 1, 2013, he later married Helen Burnett Beardsall on September 12, 2015 in Vernon, Texas. He retired from U.S. Natural Resources Conservation Service after 42 years of service.  He was a member of Vernon Baptist Church where he was a Deacon and he was a former member and Deacon of the Lockett Baptist Church.

Stanley is survived by his wife Helen of the home. One son, James Williams of Vernon, TX. Sister-in-law Marcia Williams, brother-in-law Jim Davis. Two nephews Jason Williams and Erich Davis, one niece April Little.

He is preceded in death by his parents, wife Shirley Williams, son Stanley L. Williams, Jr. in 2002, his sister Barbara Davis and brother David Williams.

Visitation will be Wednesday, February 16, 2022 at 6:00 to 7:00 pm at Sullivan Funeral Home.
