Steven (Steve) Odale Williams 75 of Vernon, Texas passed away on Wednesday, April 9, 2025, in Wichita Falls, Texas.

A service will be held at a later date.

Steve was born on Tuesday, December 6, 1949, to the late Sherman Williams and the late Murphy Lee Colbert. Steve married Laurie McLean on May 26, 2007, in Las Vegas Nevada. Steve retired as a crew foreman for Atmos Energy. Steve loved old classic cars and going to car shows and he could fix anything. Steve was a member of the Western Trail Cowboy Church.

Steve is survived by his wife Laurie Williams of the home. His children Kyle Williams and wife Christin of Weatherford, Texas, Brian Benson and Shawn Benson both of Vernon, Texas. His grandchildren Brayden Williams and wife Carlee, Andrew Hord, Russell Benson, Sophie Williams, Elizabeth Hord, and one great grandchild Rose Williams.

Steve is preceded in death by his parents Sherman and Murphy Williams and one sister Sandra Martin.
