Tabita Ledesma Gomez, born on December 15, 1963, went to her heavenly home the morning of August 20, 2023, in Vernon, Texas. While her family grieves her immense loss, we are grateful for the fact she is no longer suffering the pain brought on by multiple sclerosis, arthritis, and diabetes.

Services will be scheduled at a later date.

Tabita loved so many people: her friends and her family: her daughter Andrea, and her grandkids, Natalia and Sabastian. She loved talking about them and was so proud of them, and bragged about Natalia being a high school senior this year.

On Sundays in the fall, you could catch her watching her beloved Dallas Cowboys while drinking a Dr. Pepper or strawberry Fanta. She also liked watching the Kardashians, House Hunters, The Golden Girls, CSI Maimi, 48 Hours, the Police Academy movies, and other comedy movies.

She joins her beloved husband, Eligio and beloved son, Lorenzo, her mother, Guadalupe Rios and father, Domingo Ledesma, her Aunt Mickey, cousin John, and various uncles.

She leaves behind her brother Ismael, sisters Paula, Rachel, and Kathy, as well as her beloved nieces and nephews. She also leaves behind cherished friends at Advanced Rehab, and friends from her jobs at McDonald's, Taco Casa, and North Texas State Hospital.
