Obituary

Tammy Michelle Mason Bryant, 57, of Vernon, Texas passed away Friday, February 13, 2026, in Vernon, Texas.

Funeral services will be held Friday, February 27, 2026, at 2:00 pm at Sullivan Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Toby Castleberry officiating. Burial will follow at Quanah Memorial Park under the direction of Sullivan Funeral Home.

Tammy Michelle Mason Bryant, lovingly know as T, was born on September 16, 1968, in Phoenix, Arizona, to Nora Jean Lewis Mason and John Mason. As a young girl, Tammy moved with her family to Vernon, Texas, where she grew up, attending Vernon elementary, middle, and high school, graduating in 1986.

After high school, Tammy attended Angelo State University in San Angelo, Texas. Her love for music eventually led her to Nashville, Tennessee, where she pursued her passion and graduated from Belmont University with a degree in Music Business. Music was not just an interest for Tammy—it was woven into the fabric of her life. From childhood through adulthood, she sang with joy and conviction, earning numerous awards and touching countless hearts with her voice.

Tammy was the proud mother of two beloved children, Ashton Bryant and Aleise Bryant, who were the center of her world. She was also a caring stepmother to Chris Bryant, Jennifer Del Casino, and Jeremy Bryant, embracing them with love and dedication.


In 2008, Tammy returned home to Vernon, Texas, shortly after returning to Vernon she began working at North Texas State Hospital. During her time there, she received numerous awards in recognition of her dedication, compassion, and outstanding service. She was known for her strong work ethic and her genuine care for those she served.

Above all, Tammy was a devoted Christian whose faith guided her life. She was a loving mother, a wonderful daughter, and a caring sister. Her kindness, strength, and unwavering faith left a lasting impact on everyone who knew her.

Tammy's life was marked by love, music, faith, and service. She will be deeply missed and forever remembered by her family, friends, and all whose lives she touched.

Tammy is survived by her children, Ashton Bryant, Aleise Bryant, Chris and Victoria Bryant, Jennifer and Chris Del Casino, and Jeremy and Miranda Bryant, her brothers, Brian Todd Mason and John Mason, and her sister, Elizabeth Mason Gutierrez. Tammy also leaves behind her grandchildren, Ariana Bryant, Ruby and River Bryant, Caleb and Hailey Del Casino.

Tammy is preceded in death by her sister, Tiffany Mason, her mother, Nora Jean Mason Inks, and her father, John Mason.

Visitation will be Thursday, February 26, 2026, from 5:30 pm until 7:00 pm at Sullivan Funeral Home.
