Tempie Lynn Roberson Boatman, 66 of Vernon, Texas passed away on Friday, January 9, 2026, in Wichita Falls, Texas.

Graveside services will be held Wednesday, January 14, 2026, at 11:00 am at Wilbarger Memorial Park under the direction of Sullivan Funeral Home with Rev. Toby Castleberry officiating.

Tempie was born Monday, December 21, 1959, in Odessa, Texas. She was the daughter of the late Vaughn Roberson and the late Drucy Conner Roberson. She married David Boatman on December 21, 1978, in Vernon, Texas. Tempie was a homemaker and for over thirty years she worked as a dog groomer.

Tempie is survived by her husband, David Boatman of the home, her daughter, Amy Booth of Vernon, Texas, her son, David Dewayne Boatman of Claremore, Oklahoma, and her two brothers, Dennis Roberson of Howe, Texas and Thomas Boatman of Vernon, Texas. Tempie also leaves behind seven grandchildren, Natyleigh, Brooklynn, Brayden, Coleton, Clara, Kysen and Colson.

Visitation will be Wednesday, January 14, 2026, at Sullivan Funeral Home from 10:00 am until graveside services begin.

Memorials may be given to the Wilbarger County Humane Society .
