Teresa Garza, 90 of Vernon, Texas passed away on Monday, July 21, 2025, in Vernon, Texas.

Funeral services will be held on Friday, July 25, 2025, at 10:00 am at Templo Ebenezer Church of God with Rev. Fabrisio Reyna and Rev. Freddy Villa officiating. Burial will follow at Crowell Cemetery under the direction of Sullivan Funeral Home.

Teresa was born Saturday, April 27, 1935, in Wichita Falls, Texas. She was the daughter of the late Santos Rodriguez and the late Candelaria Ovalles Rodriguez. She married Gillermo Garza on July 29, 1950, in Crowell, Texas. She was a member of the Templo Ebenezer Church of God.

Teresa is survived by four sons, David Garza of Lewisville, Texas, Richard Garza of Wichita Falls, Texas, Thomas Garza of Vernon, Texas and Alex Garza of Pilot Point, Texas, one daughter, Sally Coats of Vernon, Texas, two brothers, Willie Rodriguez of Hobbs, New Mexico and Bennie Rodriguez of Greeley, Colorado, and two sisters, Santos DeLosSantos of Amarillo, Texas and Mary Helen Lujan of Vernon, Texas. Teresa also leaves behind eight grandchildren and nineteen great grandchildren.

Teresa is preceded in death by her husband Gillermo Garza, her son, Pedro Garza, her daughter, Linda Garza, and her granddaughter, Angela Coats.
