Teresita Tolentino, 79 of Vernon, Texas died on Thursday, January 13, 2022, in Vernon, Texas.

Services will be Tuesday, January 18, 2022 at 10:00 am at Holy Family Catholic Church with Father Phil Petta officiating. Interment will be held at Wilbarger Memorial Park under the direction of Sullivan Funeral Home.

Teresita was born Thursday, January 22, 1942 in Manila, Philippines, she was the daughter of the late Santos Lopez and the late Ursula Siwa  Lopez. She married Ted Tolentino on December 20, 1964 in Adorable San Leonardo. She and her family moved to Vernon from the Philippines May 31, 1987. She attended Espiritu Santo Catholic School in Manila, graduate of Far Eastern University in Manila with a BS degree in Education, teaching Home Economics in the Philippines till moving to the USA. She worked for North Texas State Hospital, Food Service Manager. She was a homemaker.

Teresita is survived by her husband Ted Tolentino of the home.  son, Jay Tolentino of Vernon, TX, daughter, Joy Ferrell and husband Jory of Apache, OK. Grandchildren Alexa and Jake both of Apache, Ok. and Kenneth, Kevin, Ryan and Loverly all of the Philippines, half siblings, Cora Siwa Pascual and Bong Siwa both of the Philippines, brother-in-law Dr. Rey Tolentino and wife Cindy of Vernon, TX., three sisters-in-law Linda Boyea, Nona Rubiano and Daisy Canivel and husband Nick. Numerous nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by a son Oliver Tolentino September 15, 2021.

Visitation will be Monday, January 17, 2022 at 6:00 to 8:00 pm at Sullivan Funeral Home
