Terri Lynn Weaver, 68 of Vernon, Texas went to be with her Lord and Savior on 8/18/24 after a battle with cancer.  A battle she fought with incredible courage, grace and dignity.

Terri retired from United Supermarkets after 30 years.  She was loved by her many customers and co workers. After retiring from United Terri went on to work at North Texas State Hospital and formed many friendships with her co workers there as well.

Terri had a smile that would light up any room when she walked into.  She also had an infectious laugh and loved to cook and was a great cook. She also enjoyed spending time with her family and friends, especially her kids and grandkids. Her Grandchildren were her pride and joy. Terri also lost the love of her life Greg Byars in April of 2023. Greg and Terri spent many years together and were devoted to each other. Terri spent many years taking care of Greg after his health declined and did so happily.

Terri was a loving mother, grandmother, cousin, sister, aunt and friend. Terri never met a stranger and was kind to everyone. She always had a positive attitude and loved to laugh and make others laugh. Her sense of humor was unparalleled. Terri's presence will be missed by those who loved her, but they are reassured knowing she has been reunited with her parents, Greg and many friends and family.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, August 24, 2024, at 10:00 AM at Sullivan Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Ric Rosalez officiating. Burial will follow at Wilbarger Memorial Park under the direction of Sullivan Funeral Home.

Terri was born on Wednesday January 4th,1956. She was the daughter of the late Nathan Lee Shack and the late Patsy Lee Holliday Shack.

Terri is survived by her daughter, Jennifer Bunch and husband Russell of Vernon Texas. Her son, Jeff Weaver and wife Stephanie of Vernon Texas. Five grandchildren, Tyler Edens of Wichita Falls, Texas, Marleigh Bunch of Norman, Oklahoma, Austin Weaver and Jerick Weaver of Vernon, Texas, and Triston Weaver of Enid Oklahoma, and three great grandchildren, Ellis Edens, Xander and Elise Weaver. Terri also leaves behind her brothers, Dr. Bruce Shack of Chattanooga, Tennessee, Jayme Rogers of Graham, Texas and one sister, Janan Burch of Graham, Texas, and a bonus son, Beau Byars and wife Trish and Carter and Griffin of Windthorst Texas. Also, numerous extremely loving cousins, nieces and nephews.

Terri is preceded in death by her parents and her long time love Greg Byars.

Memorials can be made to the American Cancer Society.

Visitation will be held Friday, August 23, 2024, from 6:00 pm until 7:00 pm at Sullivan Funeral Home.
