Than Than Shwe, 43 of Vernon, Texas passed away on Saturday, March 16, 2024, in Vernon, Texas.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, March 30, 2024, at 2:00 pm at Sullivan Funeral Home Chapel.

Than was born December 15, 1980 in Ramree, Rakhine State, Burma. She was married to Tun Aung Khaing and had four beautiful daughters, Aye Thandar, Aye Thuzar, Aye Thazin, and Thin Rana Khine. She came to the U.S. in November of 2016. Her husband passed away in 2020 due to Covid. She took care of her daughters all by herself while being a widow. Her oldest daughter, Aye Thandar, stated, "She was caring, strong, independent, puts her kids before herself, and a loving woman". Than's goal in coming to the U.S. was for her children to have a good education and live a better life than her.

Than has four siblings, two older brother, Maung Gyi and Nyi Hla Shwe, one older sister, Mya Pan Nwe, and one younger sister, Hla Hla Htay.

Than left us, in the blink of an eye, on March 16, 2024 in a car accident. She left behind four children with her brother-in-law. We pray the girls will grow up and be taken care of as their uncle's children. We pray they will be loved as their parents loved them.

Visitation will be Saturday, March 30, 2024, from 1:00 pm to 8:00 pm at Sullivan Funeral Home.
