Thelia June Brock, 85 of Vernon, Texas died on Thursday, March 24, 2022, in Vernon, Texas.

Funeral services will be Monday, March 28, 2022 at 2:00 pm at Calvary Baptist Church with Rev. Toby Castleberry officiating. Interment will be held at Eastview Cemetery under the direction of Sullivan Funeral Home.

Thelia was born Friday, May 1, 1936 in Vernon, Texas. She was the daughter of the late Louis Walker and the late Bertha Baker Walker. She married Kenneth J. (Jeep) Brock on January 19, 1957 in Vernon, Texas, he preceded her in death February 5, 2007. She was a licensed nurse and she trained at Christ The King Hospital. She worked for Dr. Borchardt, Dr. Muirhead and she was a surgical nurse at Christ The King Hospital. She worked at Woods Nursing Home, and retiring from Vernon State Hospital. She was a member of Calvary Baptist Church. She was a homemaker.

Thelia is survived by her son, Ken Brock and wife Michelle of Vernon, TX, daughter, Sheri Hughes and husband Randall of Rowlett, TX, sister, Louis Watson of Las Vegas, NV. Five grandchildren, Lindsay Burleson husband Chris, Ryan Hughes, Hannah Hughes and fiancé Darren James, Katy Stolle, and Zack Stolle. Six great grandchildren, Boone Burleson, Axie Burleson, Omalee Burleson, Ingerlee Burleson, Merrilee Burleson, and Brazos Burleson.

She is preceded in death by her parents, husband and two sisters Ina Baldwin and Mary Arnold.

Visitation will be Monday at 1:00 pm til service time at Calvary Baptist Church.
