Tony Laird, 64 of Vernon, Texas passed away on Wednesday, April 2, 2025, in Wichita Falls, Texas.

A celebration of life will be held Saturday, May 17, 2025 at 11:00 am at Western Trail Cowboy Church.

Tony was born Saturday, April 9, 1960, in Troy, Missouri to the late Judy Turnbull. He married Tammy Phillips on March 13, 1995, in Rosharon, Texas. Tony proudly served in the U.S. Navy for eight years. He enjoyed taking trips, playing the drums, and taking care of cars. He was a hard worker, and he was quite the jokester. He loved motorcycles and bowling, but he especially loved being with his grandbabies. Tony was an awesome dad and stepdad, and he was a very compassionate and loving husband. He was a member of Western Trail Cowboy Church.

Tony is survived by his wife, Tammy Laird of the home, his children, Heather Alsobrock & husband Earl of Pearland, Texas, TJ Laird of Pennsylvania, Nikki Charlesworth & husband Mark of Pennsylvania, Rocky Laird & wife Ashley of West Columbia, Texas and Jacob Dawson & wife Kayla of Rosharon, Texas, and his siblings, Scott Mills, Darren Mills, Grant Mills, and Dana Mills. Tony also leaves behind twelve grandchildren and two great grandchildren.

Tony is preceded in death by his mother, Judy Turnbull, and his daughters, Tenice Laird and Kenzie Wier.
