Tracy O’Neal Ray, 65 of Vernon, Texas passed away on Tuesday, September 1, 2026, in Vernon, Texas.

Graveside services will be held Monday, September 7, 2026, at 10:00 am at Wilbarger Memorial Park under the direction of Sullivan Funeral Home with Cole Hatfield officiating. Tracy was born Tuesday, August 29, 1961, in Vernon, Texas. She was the daughter of Wes O'Neal and Patricia Perkins O'Neal. She graduated from Vernon College with an associates degree in business and went on to graduate from Lubbock Christian University with a bachelor’s degree in business management. Tracy began her career at Guthrie CSD where she worked as the Assistant Superintendent of Business and Finance. She also worked at Monahans ISD, Stephenville ISD, Weatherford ISD, and retired from Grand Prairie ISD. 

Tracy is survived by father, Wes O’Neal of Holliday, Texas, her daughters, Summer Campbell & husband Clark of Goldthwaite, Texas and Kristen Hager & husband Eric of Weinert, Texas, and her sister, Tammy Hatfield & husband Reggie of Anson, Texas. Tracy also leaves behind five grandchildren, Cutter Campbell, Carsyn Campbell, Owen Campbell, Wylder Hager and Landree Hager.

Tracy is preceded in death by her mother, Patricia O’Neal.

Visitation will be Sunday, September 6, 2026, from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm at Sullivan Funeral Home.

Memorials may be made to the Shriners Hospitals for Children or Wilbarger Humane Society.
