Truman Ray Jones, 76 of Sweetwater, Texas died on Thursday, June 2, 2022, in Sweetwater, Texas.

Services will be Wednesday, June 8, 2022 at 10:00 am at First United Methodist Church with Rev. Anthony Inmon officiating. Interment will be held at Chillicothe Cemetery under the direction of Sullivan Funeral Home.

Truman was born Sunday, June 24, 1945 in Medina, Texas, he was the son of the late Cleveland Ray Jones and the late Lucille Morris Jones. He was a truck driver in Quanah for 18 years, after retirement he begin a career in Flea Markets, buy and selling. He was married to Joyce Either and they had five children. He was a Baptist.

Truman is survived by his son, Leslie Ray Jones of Snyder, TX, daughters, Marie Clark and husband Raymond of Vernon, TX and Marshella Taylor and husband Steve of Vernon, TX, brother, Charles Jones of Sweetwater, TX. Fifteen grandchildren, forty-four great grandchildren and three great-great grandchildren.

He is preceded in death by his parents, one daughter Hazel Jones, one son Aubrey Jones, brother Jimmy Jones, and a sister Louise Jones Holt.

Visitation will be Tuesday, June 7, 2022 at 6:00 to 8:00 pm at Sullivan Funeral Home.
