Twyla Faye Arrowood, 77 of Oklaunion, Texas passed away on Monday, August 12, 2024, at in Vernon, Texas.

A private family service will be scheduled for a later date.

Twyla was born Monday, October 28, 1946, in Harrah, Oklahoma. She was the daughter of the late Walter Ensley and the late Dorothy Gillispie Ensley. Twyla graduated with a degree in nursing from Rose State College in Oklahoma. She worked as an ICU nurse at Mercy Health Center in Oklahoma City for thirty-five years. She loved to travel, and she loved helping raise her grandchildren. Twyla was proud of her strong faith in God and leading people to God. She was a member of Bible Baptist Church in Frederick, Oklahoma.

Twyla is survived by two sons, Stephen Arrowood of Memphis, Tennessee and Water Arrowood of Oklaunion, Texas; three daughters, Vicky Hatting of Tulsa, Oklahoma, Brandi Williams of Oklaunion, Texas, and Misty Rivera of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, and one sister, Lexye Tomlinson of Harrah, Oklahoma. Twyla also leaves behind numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Twyla is preceded in death by her daughter, Sherri Ivy.
