Una Faye Scott, 90 of Vernon, Texas passed away on Sunday, August 25, 2024, in Vernon, Texas.

Funeral services will be held Thursday, August 29, 2024, at 11:00 am at Wilbarger Street Church of Christ. Burial will follow at Wilbarger Memorial Park under the direction of Sullivan Funeral Home.

Una Faye was born Monday, January 22, 1934, in Vernon, Texas. She was the daughter of the late J.V. Huff and the late Lola Mae Upton Huff. She married Paul W. Scott on August 8, 1964, in Vernon, Texas. Una Faye worked at Joe Bacon Insurance and worked at the Herring Bank for over thirty years. She was a Campfire Leader and was crowned the First Lady for the Wilbarger County Centennial in 1981. She was a member of Wilbarger Street Church of Christ where she taught Sunday School for twenty years.

Una Faye is survived by four daughters, Sharon Stone & husband Jim of Sugar Land, Texas, Janice White of Vernon, Texas, Brenda Haynes of Vernon, Texas, and Cynthia Echols & husband Bobby of Vernon, Texas, and seven grandchildren, Jeana Stone Goldfarb, Justin Stone, McKinsey Haynes Akin, Tiffany Echols, Melanie Haynes, Chelsea Echols, and Miranda Haynes Perez. Una Faye also leaves behind ten great grandchildren.

Una Faye is preceded in death by her husband, Paul W. Scott on January 9, 2021, her sister, Wanda Lee Huff Zeller, and two grandsons, Michael Paul Echols and Jay Stone.

Visitation will be Wednesday, August 28, 2024, from 6:00 pm until 8:00pm at Sullivan Funeral Home.

The family will be at 4420 Cottonwood Lane, Vernon, Texas.
