Vickie Carol Russell, 66 of Vernon, Texas passed away on Monday, December 15, 2025, in Vernon, Texas.

Vickie was born Thursday, September 24, 1959, in Vernon, Texas. She was the daughter of the late Jerry Carl Allen and Betty Downes Allen. She worked at the Vernon State Hospital for over twenty years.

Vickie is survived by her mother, Betty Allen of Crowell, Texas, her sister, Sherry Farris of Vernon, Texas and her brother, Ronnie Allen of Crowell, Texas.  Vickie also leaves behind numerous nieces and nephews.
