Virginia McGann Sivley, 79 of Vernon, Texas passed away in her home on Saturday, June 7, 2025.

Funeral services will be held Friday, June 13, 2025, at 2:00 pm at Western Trail Cowboy Church under the direction of Sullivan Funeral Home with Mr. Larry Drennan officiating.

Virginia was born July 9, 1945, to the late Bill "W.T." McGann and the late Johnnie Waldrop McGann. She graduated from Vernon High School in 1963. Virginia married Lynn Sivley in Vernon, Texas on July 7, 1967.

She worked as Office Manager at McGann Construction and OK Concrete for a number of years. Later she changed careers and operated her own dog grooming business up until recently.

Virginia was a longtime member of the Western Trail Cowboy Church, and her relationship with God was evident in every aspect of her life. She served her church in several capacities including decorating the church for holidays and helping serve meals for events on Wednesday nights and the college student meals. She also ordered all the kitchen goods for the church. She enjoyed helping serve her church in every possible way, including gardening around the church grounds. She was like the "Pioneer Worman" of the church. She also enjoyed cooking and spending time with her family and friends.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Lynn Sivley, brother, Jack McGann and sister, Carolyn McGann, Perlowski.

She is survived by nieces Marilyn Lane of Wichita Falls, Texas and Elaine Nance of The Woodlands, Texas. Virginia also leaves behind one brother-in-law Roy Sivley and wife Becky of Clyde, Texas along with several nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held Friday, June 13, 2025, at 1:00 pm at Western Trail Cowboy Church.
