Wanda Nell Odom passed away on May 24, 2024, in Wichita Falls, Texas at the age of 88.

Funeral services will be held Thursday, May 30, 2024, at 2:00 pm at Sullivan Funeral Home Chape with Rev. Toby Castleberry officiating. Burial will follow at Wilbarger Memorial Park under the direction of Sullivan Funeral Home.

Wanda was born September 21, 1935 in Bonham, Texas to Delmar and Myrtle Danner Wattenbarger. She married Bobby Joe Jones on November 25, 1955, and he preceded her in death on April 27, 1982. She married Clois (Happy) Odom on March 7, 1987, and he preceded her in death on May 17, 2017. She is survived by son, Terry Jones (Stephanie), step-children, Lavern Odom, Lynette Fennell (Troy), and Charlie Odom (Carol). She was Grandmoma to Andrew Jones, Bryan Jones, Tiffany Jones, Hannah Plyler, Troy (Jet) Fennell Jr, Kary Fennell, Paul Fennell, Christopher Odom and Morgan Mason as well as 16 great grandchildren and 10 great-great grandchildren. She was also preceded in death by son Danny Jones, stepson Curtis Odom, brothers Tommy Wattenbarger, Richard Wattenbarger, James (Bill) Wattenbarger, Robert Wattenbarger, and sisters, Dorothy James, Mary Lou Robinson, and Peggy London.

She lived most of her life in Vernon and was a longtime member of Calvary Baptist Church and Happy Hearts. She moved to Wichita Falls in 2018. She was a big fan of attending her grandchildren's and great-grandchildren's events until her health began to fail. She was always there in spirit even if she was unable to attend.

Visitation will be Thursday, May 30, 2024, at Sullivan Funeral Home from 1:00  pm until funeral services begin.
